Whether participating in Simcoe Day activities, enjoying the skating weather at Nathan Philips Square or hanging out on the steps of the Royal Ontario Museum, these images ranging from 1900 to 1995 provide another glimpse at Toronto city life from the perspective of children.

Demonstrating the diversity of activities and settings awaiting children who live in an urban environment. These images were obtained from the City of Toronto Archives which includes information from records created by the municipal governments that existed before the 1998 amalgamation.
