With the help from Dr. Vid Ingelevics, Mary Anderson and their exhibit at the City of Toronto Archives From Streets to Playgrounds: Representing Children in Early 20 th Century Toronto, these images were not only utilized in the original exhibit but currently remain housed at the City of Toronto Archives offering a glance at the lives of children residing in various areas of the city during the mid to late 1900’s. These images showcase children living in poverty, children at play and the emergence of recreational activities within the context of an historically gone but not forgotten city of Toronto.
